Default Ex-Depor coach: Arsenio Iglesias

I couldn't find a reference to Arsenio, so here it goes this thread. My apologies if it's already there somewhere and I couldn't see it.

Arsenio Iglesias got a special tribute this last Saturday (14/05/16) at halftime. He was bestowed with the highest recognition of the club, a special insignia, and was declared "Blue&White Legend".

In case there's anyone out there who's too young to know about him, this is the man who radically transformed Depor as a coach (although he had been a player too back in the day).
It was under his guidance when the club got its first title ever (the Copa in 1995), and he basically set down the winning ways that'd be the norm until the early 2000s.

Here's the special video from the club: https://youtu.be/ZFxetyYpGrc
(one doesn't have to understand much to feel the emotion - goosebumps here...)

Absolute LEGEND. Eternal gratitude to "The Wizard".

Arsenio is a Legend and one of the most humble managers.
He was the real pioneer of the SuperDepor team, to think if Djukic had scored that penalty, we would have been Champions of Spain twice, at least!
He is to us what Arragones was to Athletico.

Indeed. And a very funny and witty, down to earth, person. He was a role model in the club.

Yeah! Everytime I watch that I keep hoping he'll score! Then again, everytime I watch Alfredo's goal at the 95 cup final I have to smile

I was honoured and privileged to witness this tribute in the Riazor on Saturday. The atmosphere was electric and some people were crying (tears of joy and pride). Incredible moments like this are as good as any title win will ever be. Maestro.

Thanks for posting the link Xoan.
