That's exactly why the RFEF proposed a league with 24 teams, because this will take years of allegations and demands and they aware of the consequences. It will surely end in CAS and it can take 2 or 3 years. The competiton will be frozen unless all the parties reach an agreement. The only ones that don't want to see reality is La Liga and Tebas.

I read that even a possible Fuenlabrada demotion doesn’t mean that the “best” relegated team can stay in Segunda.

It's clearly in the rules, a team demoted ends the season with zero points and as the last place at the standings, so we are moving one place up and will be saved as soon as the Competition Committee or any other higher instance validates the report.

What you read is just a lie of the papers that are related to Tebas trying to attack Deportivo.

About chances of staying at Segunda, I believe 90%. The report is so brutal that it will need a very convincing reason to reject it, and if the Competition Committee says no, you have the Appeal Committee.

The problem is that it will take a long time, and with next season around the corner, the best solution is to have 24 teams and later the judges will say if Fuenlabrada deserves the demoton or not.

If Fuenlabrada is getting demoted we would for sure be met with appealing from their side as well. I don't see an end anytime soon to this mess.

It's a long read, but it's a pretty damming report from a Fuenlabrada point of view. I do not see what argument they can have.

This won't be done in 10 days and will probably last many years. Unfortunately, I don't think it will have much effect on us this year and we will start in 2B instead of having the league of 24. What could happen is that we will get the 2nd division TV money a few years later if Fuenlabrada is eventually found guilty. Once the playoff is finished on the 23rd it becomes very difficulut to build a competitive team in 2 or 2B with many players trying to sign to play a few friendlies with their new clubs before the league starts.

Potential 2B lineup- Brea/Alberto- Valin, JuanRo, Somma, Valentin-Alex B, Gandoy, A.Sanchez, -J.Sanchez/Borja Valle, Adri Castro, Pinchi

As you have said, this is not going to be resolved before the end of August.
Currently we are a Segunda B team, the Board need to start putting together a competitive squad from this week.

We need to get out of that league within 1 season.

IMO the squad needs to be built like

1. The best 5-7 players from Fabril
2. 2-3 Veterans who have some history with Depor and want to come and help out
3. 2-3 U18 Loans from 1st Division clubs, preferably if they've capped with the Spain U17
4. 4-5 top players from Tercera or 2B who are under 23

I don't think you need to have a team bigger than 18-20 this year, leaving a lot of opportunity for Fabril players who are not ready currently to debut
