Can you imagine Beckham's face when he got the news?

"Hey David, great news; your red card has been rescinded and you're now free to travel up to Coruna and renew your hostilities with Duscher and Scaloni"

"Oh CRAP!!!!!!!!"

On a serious note though, I agree with Mattias about the punishment. I thought a second yellow card for clapping was a bit harsh, especially when you consider he got the same punishment for applauding an official, that Essien got for his over the top tackle on Ben Haim last week.

However, if UEFA considered Kim Morten Nielson's award of a second yellow for Rooney to be correct, then you have to wonder how the Spanish FA can get away with denouncing the same action to be incorrect.

this line-up thing is getting out of control; again scaloni in mid before Sergio? Juanma is the weak spot, and it's on the most critical position...

eeeerrrrr... if that line-up is true, Scaloni will play in his most natural position. Duscher as DM and Scaloni as interior derecha (so we call it in Spain

). Let's wait and see. I'm sure what Caparrós wants is justice: Scaloni and Duscher facing Beckam should enforce it

And about Juanma... I don't like it much but the option of Romero or Cesar facing Robinho...

Juanma will be on the line up just in case Beckham tries to pass through Scaloni and Duscher

hmmm we shouldn't concentrate that much on Beckham. He scores from free kicks only, just Aldo will do enough; no Scaloni needed extra. Better look after Robinho and Raul today! If not, we won't have any kind of midfieldpossession just like against Barca and we won't be that lucky twice. Valeron and Tristan are way too slow to count just on them in attack. Attacks must come from deep midfield for Val/Tris or from wings. I see more Guzma/Munit scoring that either Val/Tist. Therefor we need Sergio more than Scaloni.

But anyway: the thing is we need to attack as well, not just be defensive. You know that when we receive a goal, other will follow and slaughter as well. Who doesn't attack doesn't score. (well in our case who does attack also doesn't score, but eeeh......
