yeah that was good strike... not sure he would have got that much time in Primera, but definitely he was one player that I thought will play more regularly for us..

BN, was there ever any whispers about him having an attitude problem (like Beceiro)? I'm really pissed off that he exited, considering the joke players we've brought in to the LB position over the past 2 years.

Nope, at least for what I know. It's truth that Beceiro has a peculiar character and probably was a bit distracted lately and not focused on football 100%, but never heard anything similar about Raul, so I guess it was a football decision, they just considered he hasn't level enough. Last season he was loaned to Melilla, as we had "well covered" that position with Morel and Ayoze. This summer I thought he would cover the spot of Morel, but it seems somebody decided it was better to have on loan some "cracks" like Evaldo or Pinto than to give a chance to a homegrown player... Really sad and not very understandable, indeed...

We should get back Rochela and Raul for the next season, get rid of useless loans Evaldo & Pinto, sell silly Ayhtami and promote Insua to the senior squad.

The defensive line of Laure - Rochela - Insua - Raul (all homegrown players) will become our future warriors.

9 games with Almería this season, 5 of them Liga and 4 Copa games, 6 as a starter, to play 508 minutes.

Now he has been loaned to Alavés, Segunda, to have more minutes.

How should I react, when he plays against us?

I expect a good welcome for him if he comes here to play against us. In fact, if someone could be angry, that should be the poor player. It wasn't his fault, the club just prefered to trust in much more reliable players for the LB, you know, as Rindaroy, Morel, Ayoze, Evaldo, Thiago Pinto, etc... instead of him.

After rescinding contract in Almería last summer, he signed for Alavés in Segunda, where he plays as starter. He has scored a goal this weekend vs Leganés.
