Fabril back in Segunda 'B' after years down in Tercera.. this would be an important point for some promising Fabril players as well as for Deportivo..

If I am not mistaken that gave us some A team players the last time in Laure Alex and Lassad.

First signings for Fabril:
Uxío da Pena - 27, Striker. Scored 27 goals for Cerceda(Tercera, Galicia).
Jorge Romay - 27, Playmaker, ex-Fabril. Played for CD Boiro(Segunda 'B') last season and was an important player for them.
I think Romay even debuted for our first team in Copa Del Rey.

why do we sign guys at 27?

To secure permanence at segunda B, so as the other youngsters can improve?

I think we need a good mix of veterans as well as youngsters to maintain the category.. many B teams do this to keep them above Tercera..

I really wonder though, what kind of salaries do those player get. Or what's their motivation is

yeah, that makes sense. One can't make a living as a football player at segunda b level, so either hopes for a transfer or already has an income outside football and play for fun.

well, if you are not too well educated and you have nothing else to do, 5.000 per month is still not bad while you don't have a bigger family. as 80 teams play in the league and each of them has 6 professional players, this is a good chance.

Great signings and am excited to watch these kids play at 2B. Every team needs balance and Uxio and Romay are proven at this level. For the club it will help with the young players development as they now have leaders who have played at a higher level and know the ins and outs of training as well as the mistakes they've made that could have resulted in a better career. For them, they come to a big club with the hopes that if they impress they can debut with the 1st team in Primera and fulfill their dream of playing for their hometown Depor.
