I agree. The last few months Dani has started to show his age and unfortunately Alberto is still a year or 2 away from being a 1st team goalkeeper. Would love to see him on loan at a 2B team with a team like Ferrol or Coruxo if he is the starter there instead of Fabril in 3rd Division. There has been talk of Fabricio returning for next season which I wouldn't mind as long as it is a 1 year deal.

I hope he has taken a big paycut to help out the club but it seems unlikely and we will overpay for someone who will only be declining. It's also a questionable decision on his part with World Cup Qualifying coming up with Costa Rica. I would much rather keep Uche Agbo than bring in Celso. The last two sessions of the week were cancelled so look for a lot of movement to happen over the next 2-3 days and players try and get to a second division team early enough to make the first week of games in September.

I have read in a spanish site that we have been linked with Hugo Diaz (23). As far as I understood he is a centre back and he played with Fabril a couple of years ago. Unfortunatelly I can't find again this article.

So Claudio B, Borja V, Merino and Dani have all left the club.

Am now expecting the same from Keko, Gaku, Vicente, Fede, Uche and Salva Ruiz.

Though highly unlikely I would like to keep Uche, Fede would be a luxury and too expensive for us to retain in Segunda B.

I also think that Boveda will stay on, so am wondering whether David Simon will leave to make way for Valin.

Here's hoping the club announce some signings in the next couple of days.

Some rumors today:

-Borja Granero (30) from Extremadura for 45.000 seems like a done deal
-Beauvue in negotiations to come back
-Manu Mosquera (21) returning to Fabril but did get 5 games in Segunda last year so a very good signing for Fabril.
-Uche Agbo seems to be Priority 1 to get to stay
-Carlos Abad (25) GK from Tenerife which may mean Mackay will stay with his club
-Valentin wants to return to Lugo and Mujaid seems closer to leave, especially with the signing of Granero. Hopefully we can get a good return along with a future fee on a sale.

Some decent news this week with signing out starting keeper in Abad (Assuming Brea will be the backup and Alberto will start with Fabril).

Borja Granero who now gives cover if Somma/Mujaid leave and lets Juan play with Fabril if needed at the beginning of the season unless we play with a back 3 like many teams are starting to do in Europe.

Gandoy signs for 3 years. After playing on Fabril over the last few years it's finally time to give him first team minutes as hopefully the future of Depor. I can see him in a similar role to Edu Exposito/Mujaid where they start the season slowly and eventually end as one of our most important players.

Buauvue who instantly becomes the starting center forward and also gives less pressure to Adri Castro and can also get him a few games with Fabril.

Ideally a double promotion with Depor and Fabril would be incredible and I think it's possible if we can keep reinforcing the first team with other great additions. Althought it is a stressful and scary time for Depor, it is also an exciting time to be reborn and come back stronger than ever.

Interesting movements over the past week

Lucho Garcia comes in to be the #2 goalie as a U23 player who has capped for Colombia's U20 team. Originally I thought that Brea would be the #2 with Alberto getting matches with Fabril for another year but it seems that FV must not trust Brea and he'll be loaned out again or sold.

Rumors of Lara (20 from Sevilla) coming on loan. He is a very small player but very quick. If he was taller he'd be one of the top young players in Spain and has capped for Spain's U17 and 19.

Still many moves to be made but luckily still over a month until the season starts. I am looking forward to seeing the preseason schedule for friendlies. I still think Fede, Rolan, Vicente, Valentin (Lugo), Uche Agbo and Mujaid (loan to Segunda or Primera) will end up leaving which does not leave us with many first team players.
