Everton is a very sympathic team to me. (I really don't like the big name teams). They have worked under Moyes under a long time and they are finishing Premier league in the upper half for a few years in a row.

They have a really decent team, although they lose key players every season. Howard in good in goal, Baines is excellent LB, Jagielka CB, Jelavic as a CF and excellent midfield with Pienaar and Fellaini, who was simply brilliant yesterday. Go toffees.

That's what stood out to me. I really couldn't work out what he was supposed to be doing. Sky Sports had him starting on the left, he played up top, then he dropped deep centrally. I sometimes find him so frustrating.

As am I. Martinez and Rodgers did a fantastic job between them, and it appears that they both had Swansea playing a particular way to keep the momentum going. It will be interesting to see if Laudrup keeps that up.

van Persie made a great start to his United career. Shame our defence is a bit rubbish at the moment.

Berbatov to Fulham. Good buy for them. Absolutely wasted at United last season.

Why is it that nobody in the world of football seems to understand that letting a Dutchman take a penalty is a bad idea... United learned that the hard way today

Of course, excellent game of Van Persie today aside from that, scoring a hattrick and leading his team to the win.

Well, on the plus side is that this game might have made them forget the equally heartbreaking game vs. city from two weeks ago.
