I used to watch Mendes' diamond, Bébé at Rio Ave. He does not score too much, but last week-end he destroyed Benfica's defense alone, and missed finally an awful big chance. I am not sure, whether he can be a Riki or is a Nelson O.

we need him & another 2 or 3 strikers as it seems Riki is leaving as its a trend in this depor the best scorer leaves the club...

Oriol Riera wouldn't be a bad option, in our situation. He's getting good numbers this season (15 goals so far) and will be free this summer.
He also played in youth categories of Barça, with Messi, Piqué and Cesc, and even debuted with the 1st team in the same match than Leo, with only 17 years old.

Charles (Almeria) is top scorer of Segunda with 19 goals, and his cousin Yuri (Ponferradina) 4th with 15. Igor (Yuri's older brother) is the top scorer of Salamanca, relegated last year to 2B.

Curiously, they 3 brazilian arrived, young and unknown, to play together in Pontevedra CF, some years ago, where they formed an amazing attack, and the fans have great memories of them. I found a video from that age, a 5-1 with 3 goals of Yuri, 1 of Charles and 1 of Igor.

Why not to make an offer to the family to bring them back to Galicia?
Specially for Charles and Yuri, but if needed, we could have a place for Igor too.

Of course, don't take this like a rumour, just a crazy/stupid idea I had.

It was my first thought too, because my name is also Yuri. Maybe his mother was Russian.

And about Oriol, I think that it's just a rumour. If Depor will stay at Primera and Alcorcon in Segunda, it may happen.

Manuel Jesus Vazquez Florido, aka as Chuli. Interesting and promising striker, 22 years old and 15 goals in 30 games, for sure one of the revelation players this year in Segunda, in this his 1st season. Not very strong physically, 175 cm, but very fast and with ability, specially good for the counterattacks, but also with quality inside the area.

Don't miss the 2-1 in his hattrick vs Alcorcon or the 1-0 vs Barça B last week.

He ends contract in 2014, and Recre is trying to renew him, offering the top salary allowed in the club (in administration), 150,000 €. It seems that several teams from Primera showed interest for him, including a big team, which wants him for the B team (Barça or Madrid, I guess). Betis even offered 600,000 € to Recre in the last winter market, and Sevilla could be interested as well.

So probably no chance for us if we wanted to sign him, because would have to pay enough money to Recre, make a good offer to the player, and besides there are more teams interested economically stronger than us.

I didn't know him, but after watching some videos, seems a quite good striker. 8 goals in 12 games since he joined Novara, so I guess he should have a spot in Fiorentina next season. Btw, why are you worried? Even losing Livorno still 2nd, thanks to Cittadella.
