Murcia seems to be sent to segunda b....

someone at the Spanish FA really wants to execute Murcia. they are in the Segunda B group of Galicia, Asturia and Leon, and should travel 700-1000 km for every away match.

Well, now Murcia have been put back at Segunda by a judge.
On Monday there's a meeting by the LFP and they will discuss the possibility to promote Castilla and play a league with 24 teams

Thank God we are no longer in this mess

Villlar insists that the Segunda season should begin with 22 clubs and with Murcia at Segunda B. The LFP and the RFEF have been talking all day long about this.

It's official now: nothing changes. 22 teams at Segunda and Murcia at Segunda B

Seems logical. The only reason we have 22 teams in Liga Adelante now, is because the exact same thing happened about 20 years ago. Sevilla and Celta were sent from Primera to Segunda B for financial irregularities, and in order to still have 20 teams in Primera, two of the three relegated teams were allowed to stay (Valladolid and Albacete). In the end, Sevilla and Celta found a legal loophole and were allowed to stay in Primera, and so Primera was extended to 22 teams, while Liga Adelante remained with 20 teams. A few years later, Primera dumped the extra two teams at Segunda, having 5 teams relegated in one year.

It would be ridiculous if Segunda was expanded to 24 teams now, because of the same reason. You have to put a stop to it some time... The LFP really needs to think these decisions through. Had they not sent Murcia to Segunda B in the first place, it wouldn't have happened. They could've known the judge would try to save Murcia. It's Spain, after all.

I know, and they also think it's too many

A league of 46 matchdays, plus possibly even 3 play-off games, is downright ridiculous.

I believe Murcia will end up playing at Segunda after all, in a league of 23. I don't think that judge will allow the LFP to kick Murcia out of the competition a week before it starts.

He already relegated Murcia to Segunda B.
The league starts on Saturday with 22 clubs (Mirandés is in)
Murcia will be paid 4 million as compensation
