![]() I have also put $33 into my online account (pokerstars) yesterday and am now at $41. Not as nice a return yet, but keeping up this rate is fine.
What do you guys usually play? Cash tables? Sit n go's? Large tournaments? |

![]() 1-table Sit n Go's mostly (9 or 10 player). I'm beginning to think that double or nothing tourneys are a good investment: 10 players, buy in $5.40, top 5 wins $10.00 each.

![]() I'm with PaddyPower.com. I used to play a lot of tourneys but low limit cash games are the way to go. If you're disciplined and stick to a gameplan, then you will realise a consistent profit over time. With our economy the way it is, I think many of my countrymen will be turning to online gaming.
As I said before, money management is the most important skillset foir the amateur player. Get a bankroll and be sure to withdraw your winnings at regular intervals. Go buy yourself something nice you wouldn't have bought if you hadn't won the money. |

![]() Well, the general idea is to steadily increase my winnings until i can safely afford to play higher stakesof the same type, then rinse and repeat. Great in theory but it wont go very quick.
So how do you go about it? Rack, i agree with the money management thing. I know of players that are better at the game than i am, and they usually rack up a nice amount very quickly but then blow it all! |

![]() i play much 6 man sngs 12 dollar and 20 dollar wich is a level i know i beat if you get two 20 dollars win a day its 120 dollar +. Bankrollmanagement is important but for good lowstakes players you shouldnt overdo it either. many sites say you need 50 buy ins for sng limit u play wich is true if you play 50 dollar+ where its smaller margines but if youre its enough 20-30 buy ins at low stakes.
Poker is chynical if you dont count pot odds and implied odds you leak money. if you never cont bet u leak money etc so i recommend you guys trying the free 60 days on pokertracker and check where you leak and what hands u loose on |
