![]() It wasn't a draw.
They just put the 6 clubs from Galicia with the 4 from Salamanca The only thing we know is that the first 3 places will qualify for the playoff, the format of the playoff should be announced on September 14.

![]() In theory*, we don't have any strong rival in our group, but if we are to play the best of the other group in the next phase, Leon and Numancia would be really tough.
*In theory though, because with FV last season we got defeated at Unionistas ![]() |

![]() The top 3 teams from Subgroup A will form a league with the Top 3 teams from Subgroup B. In that 6 team league, the top 3 will move onto the final playoff phase which will have 15 teams + 1 (the best 4th place team in the 5 groups). It will be a long season that will be broken down into 3 separate seasons so depth will be important

Right! And for me, the 1st phase will be sth like the c.l groups for the top European clubs. They can't be super arrogant, but they know that they will have to keep their best for the latter stages. |

![]() The first team played Fabril yesterday in a 60 min game and won 1-0. They came out in a 4-4-2 like this.....
Abad Boveda, Granero, Somma, Salva Keko, Alex B, Sanmartin, Galan Adri Castro, Beauvue Valin, Gandoy, Mujaid, and Juan Rodriguez also played in the "2nd Half: Keep in mind that Celso, Lara and now Hector Hernandez still have not joined the first team. Also it seems that Vicente may go to Lugo. I know he has a high salary and it will give more opportunities for Gandoy so I am all for it. WIth Granero and Somma being played as a pair I would expect that Mujaid leaves to a 2nd Division team next week and another veteran is brought in as a 3rd CB with Juan Rodriguez starting the year with Fabril. We still need a 3rd Striker and I don't think there is anyone with the U19s/Fabril that could fill that role so expect another U23 signing or loan for that position. ![]() ^ Vicente to Lugo? Don't care at all.. Take with you that little piece of crap called Valentin also.. But I'd like to know - is there ANY chance that we keep Mujaid (or at least loan him somewhere, but keep him under contract)??

![]() And here it is the final format of the tournament
http://www.deportivo-la-coruna.com/n-news.php?cid=9837 The second round is a no sense. We can end 1st and suddenly have 3 or more points of disavantage with the others.

![]() That's a weird system (as everything in Spanish football
![]() From my understanding, from the 1st stage, we don't really care at which position we might end (assuming obviously that we will be top-3). It's better finishing 3rd with 38pts, than finishing 1st with 34pts for example ![]() But the second stage is a little bit strange, because there are only 6 match days, thus it won't contribute much to the points tally, so the first stage seems more important (usually, the latter stages are more important). So if let's say, we can have the luxury of taking the 1st stage by storm, getting the max of points finishing 1st with a good difference from the others, we can relax on the second stage, and use a 1-month period for getting prepared for the knock-out stages. |

![]() Surely the “dragged points” are only the ones gained against the other clubs who have progressed to the next stage? Done to stop clubs having to play against each other again and again and again etc.
Dragging the points totals from the first mini league is madness. It’d allow a team who won Group X who may actually be so bad that they’d finish bottom of group Z to enter phase two with more points than the winners of group Z! If it actually is the total number of points being dragged then quite simply the Spanish football authorities aren’t fit for purpose. |

![]() Also this one leg final for the promotion is really dangerous for us. We can have a fantastic season, but with a one leg match we can be kicked out easily. Two leg final when the stake is so big would be fair.

Same thought. It seems totally unfair to me. A team could win everything but lose in one game a thrown out. Probably they could at least use strategy from last years where first places had two chances. |
