![]() I didn't do my homework cause here are enough people with the knowledge, but - hypothetically - would it be possible for us to take over Deportivo the football club, and if so in theory, why not going for the dream and give it a shot?
Before you all think I'm retarded ![]() So if there are people reading this and you'd like be part of this insanity, or at least have some knowledge in this matter, or know Deportivo really well - in short, if you can be of help anyhow - , you're invited to react to this topic, and we'll make this a private group once we have a team. Dreams are the engine of possibilities. (that's like 'Yes we can' but that one was taken already ![]() |

![]() I’m part of a group currently going through a process to be ready if needed when or if my home town club goes bankrupt and to have increased fan influence if it does or not. I don’t think we’ll be needed as I’m sure another rich untrustworthy or incompetent fool will step in who has no more good ideas than a dog in the street.....so another dream isn’t going to be a burden.
I think Depors situation is such that Ortega should step in stating publically he won’t be funding a Chelsea/Man City/Red Bull type situation. Just that he will help Depor remain in existence and hopefully get them into a condition where a return to La Liga is possible.....however long that takes. Is an Oviedo style Internet based crowdfunding style membership rescue package a possibility? |

![]() I have the same situation like in 2011.
Deportivo was relegated in Segunda, my favourite team Vardar was relegated too and my local club didn't secure permanence in the thhird league and played in the lowest tie next year. At the moment Deportivo is on the edge of Segunda B, Vardar lost every player (and the season starts in 15 days), even if we finished first last year we didn't get licence for Europe second year in a row, so its future is questionable and my local club is stuck in the fourth division. I'll need a looooot of money to save all the clubs ![]() |

![]() I support Filip's idea very much.
To LL: there are other rich people out there, like Manuel Jove Capellan, first shareholder of BBVA... or Manuel Anon Rey. They dont care. People should direct the club. We have a few examples in front of us, I think Bohemians Praha and Union Berlin.

![]() To give you an idea, the New York Mets baseball team was agreed to be sold for 2.6B. 100M in Depor is almost nothing for many wealthy people. I would also love to be a part of it as I played a small part when CD Ourense disappeared and came back as UD Ourense in the 8th tier (now in Tercera)

![]() So are we complete already? Let's leave it still open for a week or so before kicking into action.

Is this Capella the biggest shareholder in bbva? I don’t know who Manuel Anon Rey is but I’ll google him. Are they both Depor fans? I can understand no one wanting to take on €100m euros of someone else’s debts but could the three of them not be persuaded to help out with advice or sponsorship just to help stabilise the club? |

But I don't have so much money to spend. But I would like to hear ideas and if I have a possibility to come in I will do that!

![]() OK gentlemen,
for me this is as new as for most of you, but i read that some of you have already a similar experience - that will surely come handy. Most of us knows each other more or less, but just on a 'fan-based' level. So I feel that for starters it would be wise if everybody would make a post with following 4 informative items: 1- your relevant experiences and/or fields of expertise - current or past 2- your knowledge of the club Deportivo, eventually people in the club or (past) players. 3- your main location, and how often you eventually are in the city of A Coruna - or could be if needed. 4- other relevant information you would like to share. But let's first discuss if we should do this behind closed doors, since we don't want to throw too much confidential information on the street. |

![]() I think it would be a good idea to move this thread to the Pena section just so that people are more comfortable about sharing information.

![]() I'm interested. But I don't have an access to pena section and I don't know how to obtain it/become a pena member.
