The last thing is that it seems that Vidal is coming back and is searching for the support of ABANCA and some mid-level shareholders. We'll see.

Vidal is supposed to collaborate with Juan Carlos Rodriguez Cebrian, a businessman that was involved with Inditex (Zara etc...)

Rumors keep flying.

Vidal could present his candidacy even today. According to la Voz he wants to bring Fernando Vazquez and a few more familiar faces to save the season.

please no, this is AGAIN no step forward. It's literally a (few) step(s) back.
This way we just keep standing where we are and go further down and down.
Hope that those who vote have brains!

It seems Vidal will be present today and not in January.

To be honest, I don't see it as a bad thing. The only negative thing is that Barral seems to be coming with him and it was Barral who made the team that cost the relegation from Primera.

La Voz was streaming the event

It was total chaos

The only good thing is that Vidal seems to have a solid plan using ABANCA, it might even save the club in case of relegation.

well, investors are not pilling up the line
If Vidal has the agreement with Abanca to support Depor at Segunda B, there is no alternative. That is the basis of keeping Depor alive.

Any other alternative to Vidal, should at least arrange a similar deal with Abanca.

Vidal wants Barral but not to replace Carmelo (that will be someone else). He did get us relegated BUT he brought in players like Valverde, Andone, Schar, Guilherme etc. who are all now playing at a much higher level so he can identify talent, something Carmelo has done an awful job doing. I still cannot believe Schar struggled to find minutes here and a year later was named one of the best CB in the Premier League. Vidal is our only hope at this point

It does seem like Vidal is the only serious candidate.

He has proposed the return of Fernando Vazquez as Coach, and the return of Borges, Colak and Luisinho.

He also seems to have an agreement in place with Abanca, to finance additional signings in January.

Personally I would be happy to see Borges and Colak return, Luisinho not so much so.

We would also need an experienced Centre Back, Winger and Striker as a minimum.

The situation seems to be moving faster than expected. Paco Zaz and his board might resign today, leaving the space open for Vidal.

Officially Vidal will become the new presi by Jan 14, but in reality he will be in charge (managing the transfer market etc) even by today
