![]() Crazy defending against a fast counter-attacking team.
But, we saw two very good goals from Riera. More plays like those please. Disappointed in our midfielder pairing of Borges and Alex today. They never helped the defence out once. Hate to say it, tactically we should've dropped Alex back as a third central defender when we went 1-0 up and brought on Lopo for him at half time if we still held the lead then. Ah well...... |

![]() We didn't play bad, but too naive in many situations.
Sevilla was a better team today.

![]() BTW, long time no see a referee so much pro-Depor. Sometimes it looked like he was our 12th man on the pitch.

![]() Sidnei already scored 4 own-goals this season, if I remember well. Against Real, Barca, Sevilla... And another one somewhere I think.
Anyway, this was another tactical suicide, playing like this against Sevilla. The fact that Wilk isn't even on the bench for a game like this. Bah. Such a talented team, but once again, a moron coach.

I was noticing the spaces we left after we scored the first goal, these spaces are definitely seen by the coach. seeing this and not reacting before their goal is stupidity from the coach and not seeing it is beyond stupidity I will stop at here watching Depor games, cause I can't see ourselves winning against Valencia or even Espanyol with such tactical decisions. we are better than more than 4 teams in the league but this coach is killing us, wish that we didn't win against Valencia at home

![]() I'm not a fan of this coach, but it was always going to be difficult to add against Sevilla - no matter who the coach was. I say this because our defence is shaky against the better teams. Two converted wingers as fullbacks and a centre back pairing who just don't gel.
But, I'll be right behind VF and the boys for the rest of the season. They've upped the intensity in recent games and that, in my book, will be our saving grace. One thing you can't say about us now is that we lack balls. It'll be tight for sure, but we'll survive. |

![]() We need to have Wilk on the bench, simple as that.
He is the best DM we have and does not even make it into the squads. When he does play, he has often been one of our most hard working and effective players .. Why does VF shut him out?

![]() I said a few weeks ago we needed to get through the tough spell of games (Real Madrid, Celta, Almeria away, Sevilla and Valencia) ahead of the relegation zone. Well, looks like we got even less points than I expected, but we have a good chance of finishing the coming matchday in 16th or 17th position, even if we lose. But we really need to get the points in the four games after this.
I was looking at our schedule and decided to divide them up like this. Deportivo - Espanyol Getafe - Deportivo Deportivo - Cordoba Sociedad - Deportivo Deportivo - Atletico Malaga - Deportivo Elche - Deportivo Deportivo - Villarreal Athletic - Deportivo Deportivo - Levante Barcelona - Deportivo As I think 40 points should be more than enough to stay up, we'd need 6 points from the first block of games, 6 points from the second block, and three from the last block. The four games after Valencia are crucial. If we're in the relegation zone after our game in San Sebastian, I'd say we're pretty much doomed. It really looks like the home game against Levante will be the one to decide whether or not we stay up.
