is just because of the situation on the pitch so don't blame him.

Without Pizzi we would have not won against malaga or draw vs real sociedad..Last game we didnt attack with many men so he have to shoot from distance sometimes.
Last 2 games he gave his all, I think it's unfair to criticize him.

I just made the dumbest post ever

Damn your misleading nickname Riki!

In any case, I don't see how Pizzi was all that selfish. Honestly, can't say I noticed it.

Good shout, Riki.
However, I also agree that he can blow hot and cold and make some pretty weird choices at times. So, he's bound to receive some criticism from time to time.
What annoys me a little bit about him is his corner kicks - why are they so bad and why can't he clear the first defender. Strange because his free kicks are excellent.

hehehe :d

you guys think when we criticize a player that we hate him or something!

Pizzi is one of my favorite players in the team but this doesn't change the fact that he has some flaws ... his main flaw is acting sometimes as if he's alone on the pitch .. surely this doesn't mean he's not giving his all to the team .. but this means he should look out after that ... maybe he reads this forum and takes notice ..

last game against Sociedad he was really shooting on target almost every ball which wasn't good for the team .. the team could've done better if Pizzi was more of a team player in this particular game.

just please guys, don't take the criticism of the players we like as a negative or a hateful thing. This is becoming a trend in this forum.

Cheers

Sultan, I don't think we're knocking the 'criticism' of Pizzi. In fact, I agree with a lot of it - poor shot choices, bad corner kicks for example.

It's also true that he's one of the main reasons we've won points in the last two games, so there's a positive side to him too.

I think it's great that a player like Pizzi divides opinion. Imo, it's means there's a bit extra to his game than other teammates and more importantly, a bit more still to come from him as an individual.

I don't see anything wrong with the discussion in this thread. Viva Pizzi !!!

Well for me he is a key player. He needs to control his selfishness a bit (but not more than Riki) and Domingos needs to find a way for the forward trio to find the passing/running game to create deadly chances.

We also have to notice that on occasions neither he, Riki or Gama have had the support of the others in the forward move, so they needed to put their eyes on the ball and start with individual dribbling actions. Nothing wrong with that, but when you do that you start to loose concentration on the players that are coming to give you support, so usually it ends with a shot or a lost ball.

We need to attack more organized, with options for players with the ball, they will combine more offen, find more sutable shot opportunities or hold the possetion. We just need some patience

I totally agree with you, our offensive game depends on these 3 guys who are working seperately and need to work out together. That's the bottom line.

Next one to confirm his exit.

Well, I had mixed feelings for him throughout the season. Sometimes he looked brilliant, made some wonderful moves and scored several brilliant goals, but sometimes he would piss me off like hell.
But, I think I will remember him for those nicer things, as he was one of the best this season. He has really tried hard.

I think he deserves a sincere: Thank you, Pizzi!
