Las Palmas are soooo bad. Really, their back line couldn't be arsed to try and cut out any of those goals. It's great for us, because they and Granada are pretty much set for the drop, so even if the bottom fell out for us, there are more than a few worse than us this year for that last spot.

I'm not used to thinking about the season like this! Mid-table comfort would be an amazing result!

Even though they are in 9th, I'm not sure Sergio is going to be coach of Espanyol at the end of this season. Same thing, their defense is all over the place every time I've seen them. Nobody on the pitch for them today had a clue. I get the feeling he's losing the team.

His reported preference is London (Arsenal).
Crazy money, but I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility.
Would love to see how he fares on a bitterly cold New Years Day in Newcastle!

Yes, I loved this. Even though he's a Madridista through and through, I have nothing but respect for Del Bosque. If they had kept him as a coach, I think he could have created a dynasty in the same way he did for the Spanish national team.
