![]() what a nice goal of Ciro Capuano against PdM Milan... According to Berlu, the leftish referees push his team all season long. A "fine" rightish referee might have said, the ball was too fast (110 km/h) for a veteran rightist GK, like Abbiati, so it does not count

![]() According to La Gazzetta dello Sport the players in the Seria A earn 802,5M EUR this season. 4 years ago the sum was 546.
AC (PdM ![]() An average player earns 1,5M EUR. Lega Calcio (the League) had the following proposals: If a non-needed player has still one year left in his contract, and another club (on similar level) gives him the same salary, than his previous club, he immediately has to go, if the 2 clubs agreed. This is the casus belli around Fabio Grosso. Others: Lega wants to have non-fix salaries related on the games played. Like 50% of the nowadays salary as fix, and the player receives the other part only if he plays 25 games or what. Or his salary depends on the played/won games. The injured players should accept the treatment of the doctors chosen by the club, and cannot go to doctors who they want to.

Here you are George. 1. Grosso case: Player is a human being not a product. I am with the players in that case. I imagine if I have a work-contract for 1 more year.... OK, so I imagine it once again ![]() 2. The salary depending half part on the games played, matches won, and goals scored is OK for me. Here it is normal, and the comment is said, that in West and South (ESP, ITA) the players don't need money for motivation, they give their best normally, this is why there is no match premiums there. But in Hun players need match premiums to do at least something. Well in HUN the half of the salary comes from match-winning premiums to the players. We all know players who stay only for the money, does not play too much (Baptista at Roma for example) and does not want to play at all. They are fine with sitting on the bench. 3. To limit the free doctors changing is not nice for me either, but it can be soften, like check our doctor first and if you don't like/trust him, we might allow you to go to a specialist (Dr. Martens, etc.)

Agree on this, and actually i had no idea about it! If this is changed a little, like "the player should agree on this transfer", then this is fine. Quote:
Football clubs are private companies, so it seems quite normal to me to arrange whatever they wish with the employee/player. 50% fixed salary, the rest according the games, 10% fixed salary, the rest according the games, 0% fixed salary, the rest according the games (like a case i know of a player at Iraklis Thessaloniki), whetever, if both agree on this, then this is fine. Edit: what about Julio Sergio staying in the field for the last moments of the game, while suffering? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oZ7222I4pY Last edited by ggeorg : 23-09-2010 at 13:11. |

mmm, maybe! But anw that was unaccepatble, mainly by the ref, that could have whistled the end of the game 1-2 minutes earlier, or by his coach that should have let him out and play with 2 defenders in front of the post or whetever. It wasn't much civilized to let someone suffering like this. |

I agree about the coach possibly taking off the player but the ref blowing earlu would set a riduculous precedent imo. Can you imagine the ref blowing up early to spare 1 player out of 22 some pain. Although in theory, it's a thoroughly honorable suggestion, football is unfortunately full of dishonorable players and I would imagine even more last minute injuries where players beg the ref to blow up because they're in unimaginable pain. I don't think theres any doubt Julio Cesar was genuinely injured but unfortunately such a precedent from the ref would open up yet another can of worms as cynicism once again takes a stranglehold of "the beautiful game".

![]() To Rik about George's proposal (for referee could have finished the match earlier). This was a non-regular case that happened to a goal-keeper, not any of the field-players... So the propolal can be accapted like if a team losing his gk due to an injury in the injury-time (extra) after all the subs made, the ref could blow the final whistle.
