Brilliant winner for Lindgard for MU in the FA Cup final. Maybe LVGs last game in charge? There's not much difference between MU and Liverpool who lost a final during the week. Both need serious reinforcements in the summer to compete at the very top. Everyone's saying we'll never see another Leicester again - I think next year will see an equally interesting EPL. I'm looking to Spurs to win the league and Southampton and Bournemouth to cause a ripple. Vive the unexpected!

Brighton & Hove Albion have been promoted to the Premier League this afternoon. It's only the 2nd time in their history they have been promoted to the top division. The last promotion was 38 years ago

Newcastle United should join Brighton going up automatically, but there having a poor run of form at the moment (3 wins in 9). Huddersfield Town will push them all the way with their game in hand.

One of my friends is a huge Brighton fan and he already booked the day off tomorrow in case he had a bad head

Been following them really closely this year because of him and really pleased, especially when it looked at one point like they were going to slip up as they approached the home straight.

It was a good day for the South Coast with Brighton promoting to join Bournemouth and Southampton in the Premiership next year (so long as they stay up of course) and Plymouth and Portsmouth both got5 promoted today also, to League 1.

Congrats to all Brightonians

A very similar case in Spanish segunda with Girona. Both Brighton and Girona, relative small clubs, with no first division experience (except one season), pushing for promotion for 3-4 seasons in the row always failing in the last part of the season.

This season also Girona will probably make the step

Congrats to Brighton!

A team with those nice blanquiazules colours was needed in the Premier League
