This guy is coming on loan from Udinese with a buyout option. So this should close our midfield position.

I think he is a decent player.. Anyway central midfield is an area which is well covered.. Does anybody know what is the buyout option?

I was happy to see him gain a spot in the starting eleven a few months ago. But now, I think he is just a game killer when the team needs to go to score. He's good at passing but he only tries useless passes and slows down the attack.

I like his commitment to covering when we are attacking but I just get frustrated whenever he touches the ball as it seems we have all the time in the world...

in my opinion, he performed much better yesterday than in the last few matches.. one of his assists to Andone almost ended in a goal.. he is coming back from a break and hopefully he will find his position.. besides, there was no box-to-box midfielder yesterday which burdened him a little more..

I agree. He is a good fighter, he has a good first touch and is able to provide some long balls as well, but he needs to play one idea faster IMO also to work on his attacking mentality as he is more comfortable passing the ball to the back instead of making this "killer" pass which actually defines decent midfielder from world class one.

I can understand what you mean, but maybe Guilherme is right, that with people like Albentosa behind him, it is more important to take no risk, to keep the ball and avoid counter-attacks from lose balls. He does the sure things.

He did a good job for a long time. I liked his contribution to defenders. But still I doubt about his passes.

I don't think anyone else take too much more risks in our team. Except the actual coach, who puts in Albentosa always.

TV Galicia is reporting that we have paid (or close to pay) around €5m for him.. not sure if the news is credible..

I've been hearing for a while that it is 4m euros.

Which is not cheap for us, but the guy is a very good midfielder in my opinion, who we could sell for around 12m in a year or two if need be.
