He will be presented today. The last hope

Rack 11-02-2013 13:41

Did he really relegate so many times? I won't blame him if it happens again, but surely there was somebody else......???

ggeorg 11-02-2013 13:53

He have managed half the galician clubs :)

Welcome!! :)

i think that changing coach was absolutely needed, whatever we would get instead. But i'm afraid that this one is really on the very very abandoned last of all places in line, what i'd consider a good replacement. The guy doesn't have any appeal/body language/charisma, which is for me one of the main criteria for the succes of a coach, surely on such short term.
Whatever, it can't get any worse, supposedly?

ggeorg 11-02-2013 14:19

body language?

what more than this?

To be fair though ggeorg, they were all goal celebrations from Vasquez, so he might not get to practice them very often :o

Sultan 11-02-2013 14:36

it all depends on what kind of motivator he is!

deporiginal 11-02-2013 14:47

With Domingos, I always thought we were doing fairly well until we conceded the first goal, which was pretty much always caused by an individual mistake of one defender. Or in same cases, 3 individual mistakes in a row committed by 3 different defenders.

We have our squad, it's barely good enough for Primera, but it'll have to do. The damage is done, and changing the coach is just an attempt to put a band-aid on the actual problem. In any case, in terms of results, it can't get any worse of course. But this coach's resumé doesn't exactly instill a lot of confidence in me. Or perhaps it works out and we get 6/6 against Real and Sevilla, who knows. We have to try something

Also, I've read that he's a die-hard Celtista :D

nice to hear this guy's after a long time.. he's a Galician and I like this choice..

If he gets fired, I'm applying for the job next!

I only coached little children for a less than a year, but at least I've never gotten relegated before. Also, I have known this team and its players for years. I mean, I wouldn't need to give several trainings to realise that Evaldo needs to be in the stands instead of on the pitch. And finally, everybody here knows that I'm a strategic genius. Nobody is more qualified than me! :D

self-declared

now place it as you like

Well he has gone on record before that he has always wanted to manage Depor and he is a Deportivista (although why the hell you would manage Celta beats me :) ) He has also managed the Galician National team and was born in Coruña all pluses for me (except the Celta bit)
Whether it will work or not that is another question.
I wish him all the best.
